Preferred 2 mL (0.7) Plasma Royal Blue - EDTA (Trace Element Free) Refrigerated
Instructions Use Royal Blue EDTA tube for collection - Do Not Use Royal Blue Heparin. Mix Specimen well after collection to avoid clotted specimen. Centrifuge within 2 hours and aliquot 2mL (0.7mL) EDTA Plasma into Trace Element Free (Acid Washed) Pour-off tube. Keep Refrigerated.

Clinical Use Zinc is an essential element involved in a myriad of enzyme systems including wound healing, immune function, and fetal development. Zinc measurements are used to detect and monitor industrial, dietary, and accidental exposure to zinc. Also, Zinc measurements may be used to evaluate health and monitor response to treatment.
