Clinical Use This real-time quantitative RT-PCR (reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction) for the amplification of FIP-PDGFRA fusion transcript generates by interstitial deletion of chromosome 4q12. It can also be used for monitoring the therapy of patients with this FIP-PDGFRA fusion transcript.
