Instructions Notes: 0.7 mL (Note: This volume Does NOT allow for repeat testing.)
Specimen Type: Red-top tube, gel-barrier tube, OR green-top (lithium heparin) tube. Do NOT use oxalate, EDTA, or citrate plasma.
Specimen Storage: Maintain specimen at room temperature.
Specimen Collection: If a red-top tube or plasma tube is used, transfer separated serum or plasma to a plastic transport tube.
Special Instructions: PSA sampling should not be performed for at least six weeks after prostatic biopsy. This test is intended for use as an aid in the management of patients following surgical or medical treatment for prostate cancer.  
Specimen Stability: Ambient: 7 days, Refrigerated : 7 days, Frozen: 14 days
