| Instructions | This test is for random or timed collections. The result will be reported with a footnote containing the reference ranges for AM and PM collections. For specific timed collections: Remove plasma/serum from cells/clot/separator within 8hrs of collection. The AM cortisol level should be collected within 1-2 hours after the normal waking time of the patient. The PM cortisol level should be collected within 8-14 hours after the normal waking time of the patient. Stability: Ambient 8hrs. Refrigerated 14 days, Frozen 30 days. |
