| Instructions | Collect discharge and place in sterile tube with saline or Copan eSwab - White. Deliver specimens to the laboratory for testing as soon as possible, ideally within 2 hours of collection. Trichomonas viability decreases in the specimen overtime. The Trichomonas antigen (2915460) testing is strongly recommended. Specimens arriving 24 hours after collection are unacceptable. |
